Meghan Markle reveals when she’s due to give birth to her and Prince Harry's first child
Meghan Markle surprises with the revelation of how far along she is in her pregnancy and when her baby is due while on an official outing with Prince Harry. She also opens up about their baby's gender.
Meghan Markle welcomed the year with a surprising update about her first child with Prince Harry. She revealed the baby’s due date signaling a countdown to the little royal’s birthday.
ON HER BABY'S DUE DATE
Coinciding with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first official engagement of the year, Meghan made a startling revelation about her pregnancy. While speaking to the locals in Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, the pregnant royal who looked stunning in a purple dress and red coat disclosed she’s six months pregnant.
Fueling more interest in her baby, Meghan also told the people she met that the baby is expected to be born in late April.
WHAT THE DUE DATE MEANS
Back in October when Kensington Palace first made the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan expecting a child, it was revealed the baby will be born in the spring of 2019. Now it can be confirmed that an April delivery is in the horizon. If so, the baby’s birthday could fall on or close to Queen Elizabeth’s on April 21 or Prince William and Duchess Katherine’s son Prince Louis’ on April 23.
ON THE BABY'S GENDER AND COPING WITH PREGNANCY
More details emerged while Meghan conversed with other people in the crowd including whether she knew her baby’s gender or not. Speaking to a nine-year-old who asked about the sex of her child, the Duchess said she didn’t know.
This doesn’t come as a surprise since William and Kate didn’t know the gender of their children before they were born either.
Meghan also commented on how her pregnancy has “flown by” but said she was taking it “one day at a time” when asked how she was coping.
MORE DETAILS ABOUT THEIR BABY'S BIRTH
Meghan and Harry who first announced their pregnancy to their family during Princess Eugenie’s wedding intend to raise their child in their new home in the Costwolds which is two hours away from London. As such, it was reported that Meghan is considering a home birth at Windsor. Should this happen she’ll be skipping the traditional Lindo Wing photo opportunity both Princess Diana and Duchess Kate obliged after they gave birth to their children.
As Meghan and Harry’s baby’s due date draws near, fans suspect there will be more surprises ahead. Thus, we’ll be keeping a close watch on the royal couple for more updates about their unborn child.
