NeNe Leakes Slams ‘Sneaky’ Cynthia Bailey, Claims ‘RHOA’ Cast Are Co-Workers Not Friends

Reality star NeNe Leakes revealed her feelings about Cynthia Bailey on Instagram Live after the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion show.

NeNe Leakes has opened up about her feelings and the recent events that have overshadowed her life, on her blog, and on Instagram Live.

She was particularly vocal about former best friend Cynthia Bailey whom she accused of betrayal.

"It’s always the ones that are the closet to you that will turn on you!"

THE CYNTHIA BAILEY INCIDENT

NeNe's falling out with Bayley is rooted in an old incident. Six months ago, NeNe and Bayley had words after NeNe called her friend's husband a"bitch."

NeNe apologized, and all seemed to be settled, until the "RHOA" reunion, during which Bayley dusted off the incident and threw it in NeNe's face in front of the cameras.

A great deal of NeNe Leakes' recent volatility can be attributed to the tremendous pressure she is under, coping with Gregg Leakes' health issues.

THE CLOSET MELTDOWN INCIDENT

NeNe also addressed the recent incident in which she hosted a get-together at her home during which her guests trooped into her closet against her wishes, followed by a cameraman.NeNe had a meltdown and assaulted the cameraman, tearing his T-shirt.

NENE BLAMES THE "RHOA" PRODUCTION TEAM

NeNe explained that she had just been to the hospital where husband Gregg was being treated for complications arising from his cancer, just before the party, and had been under tremendous pressure. She unequivocally blamed the production team for the incident, and her guests for not respecting her boundaries.

UNFOLLOWING THE "REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA" CAST

In the aftermath of the disastrous "RHOA" reunion, NeNe unfollowed costars Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and Tanya Sams on Instagram. According to NeNe, they have proved themselves co-workers, not friends.

She was also rumored to have unfollowed executive producer and reunion host Andy Cohen, but she later declared that she had never followed him on Instagram.

Cohen confirmed, and NeNe is now following only Shamari DeVoe and Marlo Hampton on Instagram.

NENE LEAKES STRUGGLES TO COME TO TERMS WITH HER HUSBAND'S ILLNESS

A great deal of NeNe Leakes' recent volatility can be attributed to the tremendous pressure she is under, coping with Gregg Leakes' health issues.

The reality star's husband Gregg Leakes, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June 2018.

Since then, NeNe has become her husband's primary caregiver and has been shielding her two sons from the impact of their father's illness. The reality star has confessed that she is going through one of the most difficult moments of her life, and has asked friends and fans for their understanding and support.
