Remember Lauryn Hill's ex & Bob Marley's son Rohan? He just got married to a Brazilian model

Rohan Marley, son of the late reggae legend Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill’s partner of over a decade, tied the knot this past weekend with a Brazilian model.

Rohan, 46, was heartbroken over his break-up with Lauryn in 2011, but in recent photos and videos from his wedding ceremony, the former football player looked very happy.

Rohan and his new wife, Barbara Fialho, said their vows before family and friends at an intimate ceremony on March 23 in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

One video from the event shows the coffee entrepreneur mingling with guests as he held on to his wife. Rohan, looking dapper in a grey tuxedo, also posed for photos with the bride’s father and her uncles.

KEEPING THINGS PRIVATE

E! News reports that the newlyweds have known each other for four years but chose to keep their relationship under wraps. This meant no mention of each other on their respective social media platforms.

In a recent Vogue Brasil feature, Barbara further gushed about her love for Rohan:

“When we got involved, everything happened very fast, very lightly. Rohan is cheerful and very humble. Spending the day with him is fun and always very productive. He is electric and dreamy like me, and he is also my best friend.”

ROHAN WANTS MORE KIDS

The model also added that Rohan, who started talking about marriage from the first week of dating, “wants many” more kids.

Already, the Marley brother has two kids, daughter Eden, and son Nico, from his first marriage. He also shares five children – sons Zion, 21, Joshua, 17, John, 16; daughters Selah, 20, and Sarah, 11– with former partner Lauryn Hill.

Lauryn and Rohan broke up in 2011 after 15 years together and not long after, the singer welcomed another son by an unidentified man.

Rumors were rife at the time that Rohan cheated on Lauryn and abandoned her while she was pregnant, but it was later revealed that he is not the father of Lauryn’s sixth child.

FRIENDLY EXES

Not one to pay attention to tabloid speculations, Rohan admitted in a 2012 interview with The Voice that he has no ill-feelings toward his ex.

“Those type of people prefer to promote negativity than anything positive, so I really don’t care what they say about me. It’s only when the person in question [Hill] says anything about me that I really care. …I could never have ill-feeling towards her. She’s the mother of my children. There’s no animosity, but I’ve moved on. I’m with someone else now and I’m very happy.”

Before marrying Barbara, Rohan was previously engaged to another Brazilian model, Isabeli Fontana, but they split in 2013.
