Rapper Nipsey Hussle Posed with Fan's Child Minutes before He Was Killed
Rapper Nipsey Hussle posed with a fan's child just minutes before he was killed, making it the last photograph of him alive.
Nipsey was shot dead just minutes after he entertained some fans outside his clothing store "The Marathon Store" in LA, and was set to meet the police to discuss gang violence later that day.
He was last seen taking a photograph with a little girl, who turns out to be a fan's child. Just moments after that, he was shot at close range by a black man in his 20s.
THE INCIDENT AT "THE MARATHON STORE"
The 33-year-old rapper was born Ermias Asghedom, was one of the three people shot outside the store at 3:20 PM on Sunday, March 31. However, he was the only one pronounced dead and the other two are currently recovering from their injuries.
LA Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff tweeted that he and LAPD Chief Michael Moore were set to meet with Hussle and other Roc Nation representatives to discuss putting a stop to gang violence to help children.
He was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The two injured men are currently in stable condition.
GANG-RELATED ATTACK?
Nipsey Hussle, a resident of the Crenshaw area in LA, is said to have ties with the Crips but continued to work with artists from rival gangs, like YG and The Game who are tied to the Bloods.
His continuous collaboration with rival gangs and his persistence to end gang violence might have had a direct effect on his fate, especially with the police looking into the attack from a specific point of view.
Investigations are now being carried out by the Los Angeles Police Department, hoping to bring justice to his death.
