Carrie Underwood is the proud mother of two wonderful boys, with her husband, Mike Fisher. Her second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher joined the family on Jan 21.

At the recent ACM awards, the singer got interviewed by “E! News” correspondent, Carissa Culiner, and she dished on motherhood, her performance at the award, and how her first child, Isaiah Michael Fisher, calls the newborn.

The mother of two when asked how she felt after having two babies said she felt fine, adding that one of her sons is not a baby anymore. The Grammy winner said immediately she stepped through the door with baby Jacob, she realized her 4-year-old had grown into a big boy.

The country singer added that Isaiah loves being a big brother and constantly asks after the infant whom he refers to as “My baby.” The “He Loves It” singer said the older Fisher child says things like “How’s my baby” and “I want to kiss my baby” all the time.

Underwood referred to the words as cute and informed Culiner that as a family, they are still figuring things out, and finding out what works for them. The “American Idol” winner also revealed that being a mother is her biggest priority, and while she loves her career, her most important role is looking after her children.

The interview at this point took a turn to her performances for the night. The “Love Wins” singer acknowledged that she was thrilled to sing along some powerful women, among whom is “This Is Us” actress, Chrissy Metz; others include Lauren Alaina, Maddie and Tae, and Mickey Guyton.

The group sang “I'm Standing With You,” a song from Metz upcoming movie “Breakthrough.” It was a beautiful performance and well received, but what got people talking is the way Underwood performed her hit song “Southbound.”

The 36-year-old wearing a glittering blouse and mini-skirt started her rendition from the poolside; her dancers joined her before they made their way to the auditorium.

The problem fans had with the Carrie's performance is the setting in which it took place. The singer got both positive and negative reviews. A fan described it as the most awkward pool party in Vegas history, while another thought it should be the video of the song.

Whichever one it is, Underwood had a great time at the ACM after which she went back to “Figuring things out” with her family.
