Late famous attorney Robert Kardashian has recently been honored with a recent UCLA Center named after him, and his daughters and former wife were there to represent him during its opening.

The Robert G. Kardashian center for esophageal health center at the University of California, Los Angeles was inaugurated on April 17, in an initiative of the family to raise awareness about the illness that claimed Robert’s life in 2003.

38-year-old Kim Kardashian, arguably the most famous of his children, took to Twitter to proudly share the news in a video selfie captured in the opening ceremony at the prestigious institution.

“We’re all here! My whole dad’s side of the family came to support,” the reality TV star said in the clip, with her mother Kris Jenner joining her to add, “So exciting!”

“The naming of the center and its dedicated specialty services will assist in advancing UCLA’s position at the forefront of the world for the study and treatment of esophageal and other GI disorders—improving the quality of life for countless patients and their families.”

Kim’s sister Khloé and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were also present at the ceremony. Khloé took to her Instagram stories to comment on the event and the mission of the new facility.

“The naming of the center and its dedicated specialty services will assist in advancing UCLA’s position at the forefront of the world for the study and treatment of esophageal and other GI disorders—improving the quality of life for countless patients and their families,” the 34-year-old wrote, as quoted by People.

Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003 when he was 59-years-old due to esophageal cancer. Kim was 22 when she lost her father, who has proven to be more of an inspiration to her than it was believed.

Recently, Kim revealed she was studying to become a lawyer under the guidance of Van Jones, Jessica Jackson, and Erin Haney, and she expects to take the bar exam in 2022.
