The Kensington Palace’s Instagram account shared a now-traditional post for the occasion, which features several pics from the epic royal wedding that moved thousands of people across the U.K on April 29, 2011.
The post includes a photo of Kate and William waving on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, one air-shot from inside of the Abbey, a candid shot of Prince William and Prince Harry chatting before the ceremony, and pics of the crowds gathered to take part in the celebration.

“8 years ago today — thank you for your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!” the caption read.
Fans took over the comment section to keep sending their love to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
One user wrote:
“William & Kate’s wedding was the first time most of us got a chance to watch a royal wedding, and it surely didn’t disappoint! It was every bit of magical and dreamy! Wishing the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge a lifetime of happiness together!”

And another added,
“Happy 8th Anniversary Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!! I remember staying up to watch it. Wishing many more years of happiness together and your adorable children.”
Kate and William have expanded their family over the years, and now are parents to three beautiful children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3 and Prince Louis, 1.
Kate recently gave a nod to their anniversary at the royal family's Easter Sunday church service. There, she accessorized a baby blue coat dress with the same diamond earrings that she wore on her royal wedding day.

The celebration comes amid recent allegedly fake reports about the Prince cheating on Kate while she was pregnant with their third child.
Several publications reported that the 36-year-old Duke had an affair with his aristocratic neighbor Rose Hanbury, who’s also known as the Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
Menawhile, it’s been announced that following their anniversary, William and Kate will visit North Wales on Wednesday 8th May.
Their schedule includes meeting with individuals and organizations in the region “who are encouraging people to look after their communities and protect the natural environment.”
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their eighth wedding anniversary.
