Snoop Dogg and His Wife of 21 Years Shante Get down in the Club (Videos)
Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus stole the show with their moves on the dance floor in new videos shared to Instagram. The couple was celebrating Mother’s Day in a special event where Snoop was the DJ and serenaded his gorgeous wife.
Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus have been married for 21 years, and the flame of their relationship is still burning.
The couple recently joined forces to celebrate Mother’s Day in a special event organized by Shante’s company, Boss Lady Entertainment, where Snoop was the main attraction as the DJ of the night.
However, in the middle of work, they took some time to enjoy themselves on the dance floor, showing off their best moves and quickly stealing the spotlight in the center of the room, while fans and friends alike cheered for them and recorded on their phones.
Snoop also shared a clip to his Instagram where he’s seen serenading Shante from a distance, lip-syncing to Keith Sweat’s “Make It Last Forever” while his unsuspecting wife did the same with a friend in the background.
The rapper also shared a pic dancing with Shante and captioned it “Black. Love @bosslady_ent.”
FANS’ REACTIONS
Fans filled the comment section gushing about the couple and thanking them for being examples of what a marriage should be like.
“I Love this! Keep leading in and with Black Love,” wrote one user.
Another added,
“Love me some black love. We need more black marriages like this on our timeline. Snoop Dogg you and your wife rocks.”
And a third person chimed in to point out: “He loves her and still wants her like they just met. This is how it's supposed to be..”
THEIR LOVE STORY
Snoop and Chante met in high school and have been together since then.
They tied the knot on June 12, 1997, and welcomed three children: sons Cordé and Codell, and daughter, Cori. Snoop and Shante also have a grandson, Zion Kalvin, and a granddaughter, Eleven.
The couple had a brief separation when Snoop filed for divorce in 2004. However, they were able to reconcile and renewed their vows in 2008.
In 2013, Snoop sat down with Queen Latifah and revealed what drove him to rethink his choices and ask for his wife’s forgiveness.
“You gotta understand the turmoil and the stuff that I put her through in my journey on becoming successful,” he explained. And continued:
“I had no understanding of how I was hurting her and how I was betraying myself until I became a man and realized I need to love this woman who loves me and had my kids. [I needed to] put my life in perspective and let my music and my business become secondary.”
Snoop and Shante keep going strong, and despite the cheating rumors that hit their marriage last year, they have managed to prove everyone that they trust and love each other above everything else.
