Kim Kardashian Shows off the 'Mrs West Collection' Astride a White Horse
On Monday, reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian announced that she would be launching her new Mrs. West Collection. The makeup collection was inspired by her wedding makeup look.
She posed elegantly wearing a skintight white jumpsuit that accentuated all her curves. The photo shoot was taken in a field.
The new makeup collection is set to launch on May 24. On Monday afternoon she revealed that the Mrs. West Collection was being released in celebration of her upcoming wedding anniversary.
The launch will take place at 12 pm PST on her KKWBeauty.com website. Kardashian will be celebrating five years with her husband Kanye West.
The reality star’s makeup for her wedding to West was done by Mario Dedivanovic. He was also credited as the photo shoot's makeup artist.
Chris Appleton was responsible for doing her hair and Jeff Leatham organized the flowers for the shoot. On her Instagram, Kardashian wrote: “So excited to announce my brand new #KKWBeauty Mrs. West Collection. This collection is inspired by the look @makeupbymario created on my actual wedding day.”
The packaging for the new Mrs. West palette features the star on her wedding day in the Givenchy gown she wore when she walked down the aisle. Her new collection will include items like eye shadow, highlighter, lip liner, lipstick, and blush.
They can all be purchased together for $100 upon their release. Kardashian and West were friends long before they started dating in April 2012.
The couple got engaged on her 33rd birthday on October 21, the following year. They celebrated their upcoming wedding by hosting pre-wedding festivities in Paris, France.
Their wedding ceremony was held on May 24, 2014, in Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Her amazing wedding dress was designed by Riccardo Tisci.
The lucky guests who were invited to their wedding were treated to hair and makeup sessions by the couple’s glam team. Paris-based stylist Allison Depriestre revealed at the time that such a service could easily cost $380 per person.
So for their 200-plus guests, the power couple forked out around $65,000.
