Carrie Underwood likes to keep her life as private as she can, sharing very few photos of her family on social media. On Mothers Day, the country singer broke this rule with a photo of her mum.
Underwood posted what appears to be a selfie on Twitter and Instagram of herself and her mother, Carole Underwood. The two women wore beautiful smiles, and it is apparent that the singer got her blonde hair from her mother.
The "Southbound" singer wrote a beautiful message as the caption for the photo. She wished her "Sweet mama" and other women a happy Mother's Day. The 36-year-old revealed that she watched her mum juggle her professional and home life while acting as a role model to the singer and her sisters, Shanna and Stephanie.
Underwood described Carole as amazing and thanked God that the older woman is her mother. The post got thousands of retweets and likes, and the mother-daughter duo got applauded by her followers.
Carole is married to the father of her daughters, Steve Underwood. They've been together for 51 years and celebrated their 50th anniversary last April. The Elementary School teacher is her daughter's biggest fan and always supports her, especially now that she's a mum for the second time.
The "Just A Dream" singer is a mother of two boys, 4-year-old Isaiah, and 3-month-old Jacob, whom she delivered in January. She shares the two with her husband, Mike Fisher.
