The Dream Welcomes 9th Child With Wife Eight Weeks Early & Reveals Her Beautiful Name

The Dream is a father for the ninth time after his wife went through “by far the hardest birth” ahead of her due date and under life-threatening circumstances.

Lalonne Martinez shared the incredible story of giving birth to her fourth child with The Dream and the struggle she went through to save her life and their child’s.

THE HARDEST BIRTH BY FAR

“This birth was by far the hardest,” Lauren begins as she recounts the events that transpired on May 6, eight weeks before their child’s due date.

“I had a placental abruption and emergency c-section,” she writes on her Instagram.

“Not my first,” she clarifies but adds, “I knew this time was critical.”

"I lost a lot of blood but everything going on with me was white noise. My only concern was Élysées."

Lalonne said her condition was so serious that her husband didn’t get to join her in the delivery room. She was put to sleep with her sports bra and jewelry on.

“This was life or death for Élysées and I,” she said revealing the name the couple chose for their child.

When Lalonne woke up, she delighted in seeing her husband by her side and learning that their baby was fine.

“That was all I needed to hear! I lost a lot of blood but everything going on with me was white noise. My only concern was Élysées.”

Lalonne suffered more health complications following the birth of her daughter. She revealed undergoing five blood transfusions, battling with high blood pressure, pain, body aches, chills and fever.

"It was apparent our baby girl was ready & supposed to make her grand entrance on this day & that she did!"

THE BIRTH OF A FIGHTER

But all that didn’t matter to Lalonne.

“Seeing the divine circumstances, that lined up and brought us to the hospital...it was apparent our baby girl was ready & supposed to make her grand entrance on this day & that she did! Happy Birthday Élysées! She is a fighter and she is thriving.”

Elysees was born merely three pounds heavy according to the celebratory mom and yet she already proved her strength.

“Baby girl you are STRONG, you are FIERCE, and you are so LOVED.”

GIVING THANKS TO HER "ROCK"

At the end of Lalonne’s message that accompanied a series of photos from that miraculous day, she also thanked her husband “for being my rock and being able to keep calm (on the outside) through the chaos...and functioning off -7 days of proper sleep.”

“I don’t know how you do it...I love you immensely and appreciate you!!”

Elysees is The Dream’s ninth child. He shares five other children with two ex-wives and a former lover.

On Valentine’s Day, Lalonne shared the good news that she was 21 weeks pregnant with their fourth child. She has been delivering a child every year since they wed in 2014. Their third, she admitted was unplanned having been on an IUD but fate intervened.
