Kandi Burruss' Husband's Expensive Birthday Gift for the Singer Raises Eyebrows

A PRESENT SHE DESERVES

Todd surprised Kandi ahead of her 43rd birthday with a luxury vehicle she would never imagine purchasing herself. In a clip posted on Kandi’s YouTube channel and recorded by her daughter, Riley Burruss, Todd presents his wife with a brand new Bentley Bentayga SUV.

Riley initially had doubts when Todd brought up the idea of buying his wife a car thinking it wasn’t something she would want. But Todd insisted that despite his wife’s hesitation in splurging on a luxury vehicle, she deserves to be treated with a big surprise.

Fans weren’t convinced that she really appreciated the grand gesture. Eyebrows raised when Riley asked her mother if she was happy with the gift despite being “pushed into getting it.”

SURPRISED

On the day of the grand reveal, Kandi thought she was going to see their sick dog’s poo when she walked out of her home in a robe and without any makeup. But she soon learned the poo was just Riley’s decoy to get her to the driveway where her brand new white ride was waiting.

Kandi was clearly surprised seeing her extravagant present and appeared to love it when she hugged her husband and said, “Y’all got me good with this one.”

However, fans weren’t convinced that she really appreciated the grand gesture. Eyebrows raised when Riley asked her mother if she was happy with the gift despite being “pushed into getting it.” Her response was,

“Yeah, I mean, you got it for me so it’s not like I did it for myself.”

But Kandi dialed back when she added,

“Well, now I don’t have to get mistaken for Uber! I have been mistaken for an Uber driver two times in my Escalade.”

Many are aware that Kandi’s mother, Joyce labeled Todd an opportunist in the past. She disapproved of him thinking he was marrying her daughter for money.

WHO PURCHASED THE GIFT?

Fans were quick to theorize that Kandi wasn’t ecstatic about her present after hearing her response.

More importantly, they questioned if the gift was taken out of the reality star’s pocket.

Meanwhile, Kandi believes Todd is her perfect match. On their fifth wedding anniversary in April, she wrote a sweet message for him expressing her love and gratefulness.

“I can’t believe it’s been 5 years!!! @todd167 I love You so much! You were the perfect match for me in every way. I’m thankful to God for you.”

The car may have been a bit too much for Kandi, but it only shows how much Todd wants her to be happy. Whether he used Kandi’s money or not, you know what they say, it’s the thought that counts.
