Eva Longoria Throws Son Santiago an Amazing Pool Party

Over the weekend, Eva Longoria went all out in throwing her baby boy, Santiago Enrique Bastón, an extravagant birthday party. The celebration was a double party honoring his first year on earth and baptism.

No caption was enough to convey the excitement the 44-year-old mother felt as her baby boy turned One! The first time mum enlisted the help of Simply Troy Lifestyle and Events to plan a birthday party so extravagant it was a fairytale come to life!

The "Desperate Housewives" star left no expense as she and husband, José 'Pepe' Bastón, 51, made a "smash cake" and a "baptism" cake for the toddler. Smash cake meaning the cake solely reserved for little Santi to go wild with.

The dessert game was on a whole other level with countless treats from Ivitutto Dolce. There was also an array of mouthwatering cake pops and drink mixes. And we cannot omit the large white bouncy house, equipped with yellow and white beach balls to throw around.

The fairytale party had celebrity friends in attendance, among which was Jaime Camil. The Jane the Virgin star was swooning over Santi and dubbed him "the cutest baby in the freakin' world!" as reported by US Hola.

After the long day of celebration, the mom-of-one laid down for some well-deserved rest. However, she didn't do it without giving the last shout out to her baby boy. She posted a picture of herself lying on white cushions that further flaunts some of the stunning decors which adorned the home. She captioned the post:

"Wow what a weekend! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate Santi's 1st bday and Baptism! We are so blessed to have so many people who love our beautiful baby boy! And a big thank you to me sweet Troy and his team @simplytroy who made the day so beautiful and fun! One year down and a lifetime to go! #BabyBaston #MamasTired"

Eva revealed she didn't always plan to do the over-the-top birthday celebrations in a previous interview with Late Night with Seth Myers.

"I swore I wasn't going to be the mom that had the big one-year-old birthday they're not going to remember," she said.

The Late Night host agreed that was the 'right mindset to have.' But Eva explained that it was her husband, José "Pepe" Bastón, who changed her plans.

"My husband happened. My husband's Mexican, we have 150 Mexicans coming over, the actress said."

The couple got wedded in 2016 in Mexico, in a star-studded party that included a fireworks display. Eva had her baby Santiago Enrique Bastón, with her third husband José Pepe Bastón on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

At 6 lbs.,13 oz., baby Santiago arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Though he is the first child for Longoria, he has three older siblings from his dad's previous marriage.
