911 Fans Finally Get an Official Announcement of Season 3 Premiere Date
Fox network recently revealed the fall premiere dates for one of its returning series’ for the 2019 to 2020 broadcast season. Fans will be pleased to know the premiere date for 9-1-1.
Season 3 of the first responders’ drama 9-1-1 will have its premiere date on Monday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Fox announced the news on the shows Twitter page.
The network also included an image of four main characters from the Ryan Murphy co-created series. The actors were made to seem as if they were celebrating the return of the show.

The image was captioned: “Mark your calendars — we'll need you clocking in for Season 3 on September 23 at a new time of 8/7c. … #911onFOX.” The series features powerhouse Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Rockmond Dunbar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ryan Guzman.
Actress Connie Britton appeared in the first season of the show but left before season 2 began. Fans were informed that the show would be renewed for a third season.

Fox Entertainment President Michael Thorn revealed the news in a statement at the end of March. He said: “9-1-1 redefined what a procedural series can be, consistently delivering edge-of-your-seat emergencies, mixed with emotional story arcs and incredible performances from one of the most powerful teams of actors on television."
Thorn proudly added:
"Kudos to Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Tim Minear and their entire crew, as well as the amazing cast anchored by Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Jennifer Love Hewitt for raising the bar week after week.”

Even though 9-11- is only on its third season it has already created a spinoff series named 9-1-1: Lone Star. The spin-off will feature famous actor Rob Lowe.
Speaking about the producersThorn praised Murphy, Falchuk, and Minear for their work. He said they'd created a hit drama that "allows you to explore thrilling stories as told through an array of distinctive characters."

He explained that the spin-off gave them “a special opportunity to expand the franchise into new territory – literally and figuratively.” Fox’s president shared that they were “thrilled” that Lowe would be headlining the series when it begins.
Lowe also praised the three producers for their "ability to make smart, unique, great television is unmatched. I’m elated to join this team.” 9-1-1: Lone Star will have its debut on January 19, 2020.

Season 2 of 9-1-1 ended with a surprise wedding between Athena Grant (Bassett) and Bobby Nash (Krause). Nash was reinstated as the captain of the firehouse after a great fete and celebrated by rushing to Grant’s house.
He asked if they could get married immediately and she agreed; leading them straight to a courthouse to do it before a judge.
