See Tamera Mowry's 'Gorgeous' Daughter Ariah Picking Flowers in Colorful Tutu Dress
Tamera Mowry-Housley shared the sweetest photo of her daughter picking red flowers off a tree. People compared the little girl to Tamera as a child.
Tamera, 40, appropriately attached a unicorn emoticon to a picture she posted of Ariah Talea Housley, three. That's because the young girl wore a colorful dress that reminds one of magic.
The sleeveless dress featured a blue top and a colorful tutu bottom. Ariah wore a band on her hand which was holding onto one of the red flowers that came from the tree above her.
She wore her wavy hair out and smiled down at the flower. In the caption, her mother explained that she was "Picking flowers with [her] little [unicorn emoji]. #mygirl #minime."
Tamera, whose twin sister Tia Mowry starred on the popular 90s show "Sister, Sister," shares her daughter with husband Adam Housley, 47. She's also the co-host on the talk show "The Real."
One of her fellow hosts, Loni Love, wrote in the comments that Ariah looks like Tamera when she was about the same age and appeared on "Full House." Brother Tahj Mowry also commented, calling Ariah his "best friend."
Tamera and Adam also have a son, Aden, who is now six years old. In an episode of "The Real," Tamera revealed that she wanted her daughter to look more like her than her son does — down to skin color.
Because Adam is white and Tamera is half-white, there was a chance Ariah would also share their dad's color — as her brother does. However, Tamera prayed that this wouldn't happen.
She said:
"I'm going to be honest. I really wanted Ariah to really look like me. Like, everything. Everything. I think she has my skin color and my eye color.”
Co-host Adrienne Bailon was a bit taken aback, but jokingly imitated what Tamera must have said in her prayer. Ultimately, Tamera found that her daughter came with a "big head" like her dad, but Bailon said she'd grow into it. Plus, Tamera loves her husband's big head.
In addition to worrying about her daughter's similarities to her in terms of looks, Tamera is also about making sure she instills good values and habits in both of her kids. Based on her Father's Day tribute to Housley, he also does the same.
Tamera spoke to Essence about the work that goes into doing so and why she's not willing to have more kids for that reason. She wants her children to clean up after themselves and show "good characteristics and morals."
She explained:
“I’m done having kids. My kids are at the age right now—and I talked about this on The Real—where parenting is work.”
While Tamera is busy trying to be a great mother, we're gonna continue enjoying the extremely cute pictures she doles out of her kids now and then. For instance, earlier this month she shared one of Ariah.
The little one was just stepping out of the pool wearing a pink bath suit. She looked absolutely adorable with an open-mouth smile as she looked to the side. Her mom called her "pure joy!!" in the caption and we'd certainly agree.
