Celine Dion looks completely unlike herself in a series of cover photos shot for Harper's Bazaar's September issue. We've never seen the legend quite like this.
Dion, 51, was the icon chosen for the magazine's collector's edition cover which focused on "pioneering musicians, models, and artists," reads the Harper's Bazaar website. However, Dion looked almost unrecognizable as she spotted short hair in the feature.
The legendary singer adorned a brunette pageboy wig in all the photos she posed for. In the first, she wore a large neon green tuxedo and a pair of blue jeans. She kneeled down to show off some white heels. The photos are found below.
The second shot showed the "I'm Alive" singer in a black and white shot wearing a striped dress with a Marc Jacobs puffy polka dot cape. She looked down as she posed, and her eyes were barely visible under heavy makeup.
The third photo saw Dion leaning back in an Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket. According to Harper's, she also sported an Agent Provocateur bra and Gianvito Rossi pumps.
With her winged eyeliner and short hair, the "Power of Love" singer was hard to make out. The new-look suited the magazine's plan to showcase the “actors, models, and musicians [who] have shifted perceptions by resisting the established, avoiding the accepted, and breaking every rule they can.”
Other stars who graced the magazine's pages are Alek Wek, Alicia Keys, Awkwafina, Christy Turlington, Devon Aoki, Kate Moss, Lakeith Stanfield, Regina King, and Shailene Woodley.
Dion's cover shoot follows her disruptive appearance at Paris' Fashion Week in early July. The singer made several appearances at the Haute Couture weeklong event.
One of her most daring ensembles was an all-black halter dress which she highlighted with elbow-length black gloves and a pair of open-toed black heels.
The star accessorized with a feathery black headpiece and a matching clutch. She brought color to the outfit through her bright red makeup and wore her brown hair out.
Outside of Fashion Week, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer also stunned as she exited the Hotel Le Crillon wearing a pink feathery tube top and baggy blue jeans.
She carried a $3,364 Fendi handbag and completed her outfit with a pair of fluffy heels. It looks like Dion is not slowing down for anyone.
She's also going on tour in Canada come September. We wonder what outfits she's got planned for the show.
