On August 26, Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown Muhammad wrote a disturbing message on Facebook insinuating that the singer was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding car while walking. She also accused the people around him including his wife of keeping the accident from the press.

BROWN'S SISTER RAISES QUESTIONS REGARDING HIS ALLEGED ACCIDENT

According to Muhammad’s account, Brown was walking when “This car CAME STRAIGHT FOR HIM & TRIED TO DAM KILL HIM!” She added that the incident “Broke his bones!” and that “BOTH his legs are messed up!”

“There are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false..."

Muhammad questioned why the accident was not reported.

“THEY REPORT EVERY DAM THING ELSE HE'S EVER DONE IN HIS DAM LIFE! SO WHY DID NOT ANYONE INCLUDING HIS SO CALLED WIFE GO TO THE PRESS WITH THAT ONE!!?? WHY DID YOU NOT WANT THAT TO LEAK OUT!!??”

She suggested knowing why but did not reveal the reason. Instead, she spoke of how much she cared about her brother and how she loved him unconditionally. She also vowed to keep her family safe.

“YOU ALL ARE NOT GOING TO KILL MY WHOLE FAMILY AND KEEP THINKING YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT!!! NO NOT THIS ONE!!! NOT ON MY WATCH!!” she wrote.

Last year, she [Muhammad] also made headlines when she accused Brown's wife, Alicia Etheridge of lying about her relationship with Brown's family in the biopic, "The Bobby Brown Story."

BROWN'S ATTORNEY ISSUES A STATEMENT

Shortly after Muhammad’s post, Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown sent a statement to the Blast denying the accident and assuring fans that his client was fine.

“There are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend," the statement read.

It’s unclear why Muhammad would spread false news about her brother but the Blast says she’s been a problem in the past.

"Mr. Brown was not struck by a vehicle over the weekend and statements from Leolah Brown to the contrary are fake news,” it added. However, it did not address why Muhammad concocted the false news.

Brown and his group, RBRM are currently preparing for their tour in Japan and Australia in October, according to the statement. “Bobby Brown will be looking to reconnect with his fans in those countries,” it said.

MUHAMMAD CAUSES TENSION IN THE PAST

It’s unclear why Muhammad would spread false news about her brother but the Blast says she’s been a problem in the past. She reportedly walked out during the funerals of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown after listening to the message of Houston’s estate executor, Pat Houston.

Last year, she also made headlines when she accused Brown's wife, Alicia Etheridge of lying about her relationship with Brown's family in the biopic, "The Bobby Brown Story." Deeming the documentary "the fakest movie I've ever seen," Muhammad slammed Etheridge for falsely claiming she welcomed Brown's family. She also reprimanded Brown for allowing his wife to lie about it.
