Meghan Markle Wears Delicate Gold Necklace to Pay Tribute to Prince Harry and Son Archie

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted donning an invaluable gold piece in honor of her four-month-old baby, Archibald Mountbatten Windsor, and husband, Prince Harry.

The 38-year-old took a last-minute flight to New York to cheer her friend, Serena Williams in the course of a tennis game.

The mother of one left her husband, and infant back in the UK, but evidently, her heart never left home. She wore a delicate necklace by "Mini Mini" to keep them closer to her heart.

The Duchess's jewelry had her family's initials on it. The $125 piece bore a boldly written A on one of the pendants, and H, on another. Meghan's 14-karat-gold necklace also featured a pair of tiny diamonds. It received an online review and was tagged "classic" and "contemporary."

The Royal has shown that distance is not a barrier when it comes to keeping her loved ones close. This is not the first time she will be adorning an invaluable piece.

During an appearance at Wimbledon a few months ago, Archie's mom rocked a $350 "Jennifer Meyer" necklace. This time, it had just her son's initials on it.

The former American actress seems to have a thing for ingrained jewelry. Before she delivered her baby, she donned an 18-carat gold "mommy" necklace, which was possibly a gift from her baby shower.

Apart from being a dedicated family woman, she also cuts across as a supportive friend. Her trip across the continents was via a commercial plane, and she journeyed with minimal security.

It was not just Meghan who attended the women's finals to watch the tennis champ play against 19-year-old Bianca Andreesscu. Other notable faces included Gigi Hadid, Anna Wintour, Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend, Ashley Benson.

The 23 grand slam singles title holder's family members, husband Alexis Ohanian, sister, Venus Williams and mother, Oracene Price were also present to cheer her on.

Both Meghan and Serena share a special bond, and they are not ashamed to show it. The Queen of the court is a close buddy of the Duchess and helped plan her baby shower in the US. The sports champ also attended her friend's wedding with her husband.

According to information garnered by "The Sunday Project" in an interview with Serena, both women lean on each other and share a healthy relationship.

In her words:

"We were actually just texting each other this morning. We have known each other for a long time, but we really kind of are relying on each other quite a lot recently."

In terms of trips, the 38-year-old is not restricting her movement to North America alone. The royal couple (Meghan and Prince Harry) intends to visit Africa for a while.

An Instagram upload on the sussexroyal page signified the upcoming humanitarian works of the couple. This trip will be the first royal duty by the couple following the delivery of their son!
