Wendy Williams Says NeNe Leakes Acted ‘like a Real Jerk’ on RHOA Which Led to Their Falling-Out

Wendy Williams patches things up with NeNe Leakes and gets real about her beef with the reality star.

After years of animosity, Wendy Williams and NeNe Leakes have kissed and made up.

But that doesn't mean that Wendy has forgotten why she was upset with NeNe in the first place, and she laid it all out on her show during an interview with the RHOA reality star.

It was a sight Wendy Watchers never expected to see, Wendy and NeNe side by side, chatting amicably and complimenting each other on their wigs and outfits.

But it wasn't all sugar and spice, and Wendy made sure she explained to NeNe exactly why she's been upset with her.

WENDY WILLIAMS CALLS NENE "A BIG HEAD JERK"

Wendy frankly told NeNe that she'd been a huge fan when she'd joined RHOA, and had been especially captivated by her straight forward, no-nonsense approach and honesty, But then, Wendy said, the checks got bigger and fame went to NeNe's head.

"She had a cute family, the laugh and that whole bit, just like keeping it real with NeNe. And then all of a sudden, the paychecks got bigger, and I feel the fame got in the way of remembering who we liked her for," Wendy said.

Wendy Williams revealed that going through her divorce with Kevin Hunter made her question what had gone wrong in a lot of her relationships

NENE EXPLAINED HER SIDE OF THE STORY

After Wendy had her say, NeNe rolled her eyes but seemed to tacitly accept the show host's statement. Then she asked Wendy to explain her side of the rift.

"You know how Wendy does her Hot Topics ... and it was just "NeNe, this,'" "NeNe, that." And I was just like, "Well, dang, she is just really running my name in the dirt."' NeNe said.

THE FINAL STRAW WAS A BIRKIN BAG

But what really got under NeNe's skin was when Wendy picked on her Birkin bag. NeNe retaliated and said some unpleasant things about Wendy, inclusively saying she looked like a man...

A FRIENDSHIP RENEWED

At the end of the day, the two women set their differences aside, and chatted happily like old friends, even joking about having plastic surgery.

Wendy took the opportunity to congratulate Gregg Leakes, NeNe's husband, for being cancer-free after a long battle with stage 3 colon cancer.

We can't wait to see NeNe back on Wendy's show, because these two together are never dull.

And NeNe's incredible response was to clear her schedule and fly out to see Wendy.

The two met up in a restaurant, and from the word go, it was as if no time had passed in the interim. The ladies have put their differences aside, and NeNe is being supportive of Wendy because that's what girlfriends do...
