"Dancing With The Stars" champion, Derek Hough, has been in love with his dancer girlfriend, Hayley Erbert, for a long time and is ready to have children.

Dancing runs through the veins of Derek Hough, with his equally famous choreographer sister, Julianne Hough. Just as much as he's won the hearts of different "Dancing With The Stars" watchers, he also captivated the heart of a fellow dancer, Hayley Erbert.

Like Hough, Erbert has been a dancer on DWTS since it's 21st season. She also placed as a top-six finalist on "So You Think You Can Dance" season ten and is currently on the "A Night to Remember" tour.

STARTING ROMANCE

Not only is dancing a big part of their lives, but it has also brought them together. In 2015, the two competed separately on the hit show. Erbert was hired for the Hough's "Move Live!" tour in 2014, and that was when he fell for her.

It was not until the following year that the two were romantically involved. Hough described his girlfriend as someone "really grounded," "down to earth, and just [has] a good heart and a beautiful soul."

GETTING SERIOUS

In 2017, after his sister married Brooks Laich, Hough spoke about the perfect time to get engaged and his hopes to get married to the right woman. He told ET:

"I want to marry once. I want to be with that person that I love dearly. I want to get to know that person. I feel like, if anything, it's something that I don't feel like should be rushed into doing at all,"

He also admitted to wanting to become a father, perhaps even before marriage. It is no surprise that the dancer longs to have a family; after all, he himself comes from a large family with four sisters.

Hough is a multi-talented artist, a two-time Emmy Award winner, and a nine-time nominee for Best Choreography, according to his website. He also has a net worth amounting to $4 million.

He won the championship for the competition series with actress Brooke Burke during the seventh season, pop singer Nicole Scherzinger in season 10, actress Jennifer Grey in season 11, country music singer Kellie Pickler in the sixteenth season, artist Amber Riley in season 17, and Bindi Irwin in season 21.
