Christie Brinkley Claps Back at Wendy Williams after Host Said She Faked Injury to Promote Daughter on ‘DWTS’

Christie Brinkley finally responds to the accusations thrown at her by her friend and talk show host, Wendy Williams. The magnificent dancer didn't dance around when it came to telling Williams how she felt.

On September 16, Christie Brinkley sustained a severe injury that led her to drop out of the "Dancing With The Stars" competition. Nevertheless, she will be represented by her 21-year-old daughter, Sailor.

Despite the incident, the real tragedy is Wendy Williams’ opinion on Christie’s injury. Well, the dancer wasted no time in clapping back, according to reports by Hollywood Life.

Although Brinkley is walking around with a cast after breaking her arm during a "Dancing With the Stars" rehearsals. However, Wendy Williams has a different opinion. The talk show host believes that Brinkley's injury isn't real.

Williams claimed that the dancer's fall was "fake as hell," and by that she, insinuated that Brinkley "plotted" to get her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, on the DWTS show.

According to Williams, Brinkley reportedly wants to offer her daughter's modeling career a "leg up."

During her talk show on Monday, Williams

:

"In my opinion, I think what Christie did was she signed up for 'Dancing With the Stars’ knowing that she’d put her daughter Sailor in there."

On Thursday, Brinkley finally responded to Williams' allegations, which she found "stunning" because she's friends with the host. The 65-year-old dancer provided proof of her injury, including X-rays and a wounded arm, to "The Talk" panelists.

After the accused dancer exonerated herself, she stated a piece of sound advice to Williams. The Talk CBS tweeted:

"My message to Wendy is, it’s so much more fun to be kind. Try it. It can't feel good to try to hurt other people. If it feels good, something's seriously wrong."- Christie Brinkley's (@seabrinkley) message to #WendyWilliams

Brinkley was more shocked about who the accusations came from than the allegations itself.

The 65-year-old mother recalled that she was there for the Williams when she separated from husband Kevin Hunter earlier this year. Also, she has been on Williams' show a couple of times.
