Miley Cyrus 'Looking Forward to Being Single' after Kaitlynn Carter Split & Liam Hemsworth Divorce
The pop singer, Miley Cyrus, is "looking forward to being single" after her whirlwind romance with Kaitlynn Carter came to an end. The incident happened not long after her divorce with Liam Hemsworth.
The new couple got together in Italy and were inseparable even after they returned to the states. Though the relationship between the two was short-lived, it seemed fun while it lasted.
Cyrus and Carter were constantly seen spending time together this past month. However, Cyrus just wasn't looking for a serious relationship.
CYRUS' RELATIONSHIP WITH CARTER
"Miley was so invested in her relationship with Liam for a long time. She felt her relationship with Kaitlynn was almost moving in that direction, too," a source told People.
Carter, herself, was recovering from a recent divorce with the reality star, Brody Jenner. According to People, Carter and Cyrus created a bond over their respective partings.
The pair parted ways last Saturday, even so, they remain good friends. "She [Cyrus] wants to focus on her career. It wasn't an easy decision, but this is ultimately what she wants," a source told People.
CYRUS AND CARTER ARE STILL FRIENDS AFTER THE BREAKUP
Although the girls are still friends after the breakup, going through it must have been hard for them.
According to People's source, "They've been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated, but they're just not in a romantic relationship anymore."
