RHOA Star Eva Marcille & Husband Michael Sterling Share First Photo of Newborn Son Maverick

Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling welcomed their son Maverick last week, and the proud couple finally gave their fans a glimpse of their little boy by sharing some adorable photos on Instagram.

Like the Maverick that he is, Eva shares that her little boy did things his way - he came out a few weeks earlier than expected. Three days before giving birth, Eva was already getting contractions, so they checked into the hospital to prepare for Maverick's arrival.

"Just like his name implies, Maverick did things his way. He came a few weeks early."

The First Photo of Maverick

Now, both Michael and Eva released an adorable first picture of Maverick, all dolled up for his first official photo shoot. Of course, with parents as successful as Marcille and Sterling, a photoshoot was the only way to go for them to give their friends, family, and fans a treat.

Maverick's photoshoot had autumn-like colors incorporated in it, as he laid quietly on a knitted blanket wearing his own knitted jumpsuit that featured cat ears. Below him were artificial flowers and balls with orange, yellow, brown and white accents.

Welcoming Maverick Early

Eva and Michael welcomed their second child on September 27. They are also parents to 17-month-old son, Michael Todd Sterling Jr., while the reality TV star has a daughter named Marley Rae from a previous relationship.

According to Eva, when she started getting contractions, all she could pray for was for little Maverick to be healthy. In the end, God answered her prayers and everything went on smoothly.

“I started getting contractions three days before he decided to actually arrive, so we checked into the hospital just to be prepared. All I ever ask for is a healthy baby and God answered my prayers, so everything went smooth.”

The First Announcement

The arrival of their son was first announced by Sterling, who attended a recent product launch on behalf of his wife. Speaking in front, he said that Eva gave birth to their son Maverick which is the reason why he had to stand in the event on her behalf.

"Yesterday at 4:12 PM my wife and I welcomed Maverick. He came in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, 3 and a half inches. He's doing terrific, mom is good and healthy. We're just excited."

Now that they've released the first official photo of Maverick, fans of the couple can expect them to share more about their son along with their two other children.
