Heather Locklear's Daughter Ava Shares Birthday Photos Amid Mom’s Return from Rehab

Ava Sambora, Heather Locklear's daughter, just turned 22, amid the latter's return from rehab, and she shared photos to mark the day.

Heather Locklear's daughter, Ava Sambora, celebrated her 22nd birthday amid her mom's return from court-ordered rehab. To mark the day, Ava shared photos on her Instagram. In it, she wore an animal print skirt, thin-strap blouse, and held a flower bouquet.

In the caption, the celebrant wrote,

"Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special, cheers to 22."

In a separate post, Locklear wrote alongside a photo of her daughter blowing out candles on a cake,

"22 years ago, God blessed me with an angel that walks the earth. Thank you, Ava, for all the goodness and strength. You are an inspiration, and I'm forever grateful for you. Happy 22nd birthday."

Ava commented on the post, writing,

"I love you, mommy, thank you."

The mother-daughter duo equally got together to celebrate with a birthday dinner at the WeHo restaurant, Fig, and Olive. They were joined by the "Melrose Place" star's on and off boyfriend, Chris Heisser, and the younger woman's boyfriend, Tyler Ferrar.

The outing marked the first time Locklear and Ava are spending time together in public since she got released from a residential treatment facility. The "Dynasty" actress went to rehab as part of her sentence for assaulting an EMT officer, Jennifer Hayn-Hilton.

The treatment was also an alternative to a 120-day jail sentence, and the actress will be on informal probation for three years. While she won't have a probation officer, Locklear must stay away from alcohol and nonprescription drugs.

Back in November 2018, the "Spin City" star got placed in a psychiatric hold after her doctor declared she was suffering from a mental breakdown. The actress has struggled with mental illness issues for a long time, and her ex, Richie Sambora, had to spend Thanksgiving day with Ava.

Richie offered his daughter support at a time she needed it, and the young woman has done the same for Locklear during her dark days and continues to do so.
