Marie Osmond Shares Sweet Audio Message Her Granddaughter Recorded
Singer Marie Osmond might be famous but when she's with her family she is nothing more than a doting grandmother. It seems her granddaughter is just as obsessed with her grandmother.
While the rest of the world is used to seeing Marie Osmond as the multi-talented star, her family sees her very differently. In fact, her grandchildren are not aware of how famous the singer is.
Her fame was certainly a surprise to her four-year-old granddaughter, Rocket Jade. She spotted her famed gran in the Lifetime film "The Road Home for Christmas" and could not contain her excitement.
"My little angel #RocketJade saw her first snow this weekend, and also saw her GlamMa (aka Cassie) on @LifetimeTV!” the 60-year-old wrote alongside a photo of the bundled-up youngster making a snow angel. “She grabbed her daddy’s phone and recorded this message for me after watching the movie. I’m saving it forever!!"
The “Paper Roses” songstress posted a sweet picture of the little girl with the heartwarming voice recording playing over it. In the video Rocket says:
"Cassie, I saw you, Cassie,” the sweet tot can be heard saying, referring to Marie’s character in the 2019 holiday film. “Grandma, you’re Cassie, because I saw you on TV! And it was named Cassie and it looked like you!"
Fans were as blown away as Marie by the sweet gesture and over twenty thousand people liked the post. Many took to the comments section to share their sentiments with one writing:
“So precious, there’s nothing better than being a grandma.”
It's not the first time Marie has gushed about the little girl. The pair are extremely close and Marie told Closer Weekly that she has the most in common with Rocket's mother, Rachael Krueger from all her children. She said:
"My daughter Rachael and I are very similar in a lot of ways."
Marie is a mother of eight. She shared a rare picture of her whole family including the rest of her children except for her late son Michael on Instagram after they went to Disneyland together.
