Posting a throwback picture of Marla, Mo'Nique gushed that she wanted to thank the "227" star for thinking of the young girls that would take over the entertainment industry.

While fans commented that "The Parkers" star post was a nice one, what many didn't expect was Marla's response as the 88-year-old reposted Mo'Nique's post.

In the post’s caption, Marla said:

'Monique!! This is so sweet, I Love you, honey! I enjoyed being on your talk show years ago, and I wish you still had it for an interview together. We're all here for one another.'

Fans took to Marla's comment section to point out that the two women are strong for rooting for each other after so many years.

Marla's acting career began as far back as the mid-70s after she appeared in the popular sitcom "The Jeffersons."

However, as PEOPLE reports it wasn't until she played the role of Mary Jenkins in "227," that the actress became well-known. Besides playing the role of the housewife who rules the roost in her home, she also worked as “227's” co-producer.

Meanwhile, Mo'Nique's career started after she appeared as a member of the "Queens of Comedy" in 2001. Since then, the actress hasn't slowed down in climbing new heights in her career.

Washington Post notes that the 51-year-old broke records when she became the first black female comedian to have her residency in Sin City. Despite the achievement, there was no accolade for the actress and her team.

However, that hasn't stopped Mo'Nique from doing what she loves doing while keeping her family unit running.

According to Biography, Mo'Nique is married to Sidney Hicks, with whom she shares Jonathan and David. Although the duo got married in 2006, they welcomed their boys – who are twins – in 2005.

Mo'Nique isn't the only one who is killing it both in her career and at home.
