Kenya Moore Says There's No Chance of Making up with Nene Leakes as New RHOA Season Starts

Kenya Moore is not holding back on details of her strained relationship with "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Nene Leakes. Moore recently made it clear that there was no chance of a reconciliation between the two.

Season 12 of RHOA premiered on Sunday, and the same day, Moore made an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Bravo boss Andy Cohen. Needless to say, the "twirl" queen did not come to play.

A viewer called in to ask if they’ll get to see Moore and Leakes "in a better place this year," and the former beauty queen replied:

"The answer about Nene is 'absolutely not.' I think she’s pretty much dead to me. When someone tries to spit on you, I think they’re not ever gonna be friends with you."

While Moore and Leakes have never been best of friends, it appears things may have escalated, and any relationship between them may well be over.

"I still don't know why, but she is threatened and bothered, and she doesn't want me anywhere around, so it was very clear."

According to Hollywood Life, Moore's comment about Leakes trying to spit on her is a confirmation of previous reports that the ladies got into a fight while filming the reality series in October.

The outlet reported that Moore and Leakes' altercation took place during a cast trip to Greece. Moore found out at the time that her estranged husband Marc Daly had been talking to Leakes, and when she confronted her co-star, things quickly went downhill.

The fight, which is yet to air, was so intense that fellow housewife Cynthia Bailey called it the "most explosive of the season."

Bailey further revealed that her efforts to have both women getting along were not fruitful:

"I actually tried to be the peacemaker. I actually tried to bring them together on more than one occasion, but it didn’t work out. There was just a point where I just had to tap out and just let it be."

Moore and Leakes' fight is not unprecedented, considering season 11 of the show ended with the RHOA OG feuding with Bailey for not telling her Moore would be at her party.

According to Bravo's The Daily Dish, Moore, who was not a housewife last season, even claimed Leakes was threatened by her presence this season.

"Clearly, if you watched the season finale of Season 11, clearly she's very bothered by me," Moore said. "I still don't know why, but she is threatened and bothered, and she doesn't want me anywhere around, so it was very clear."

Hopefully, these two strong women will one day look past their differences. Moore and fellow housewife Porsha Williams were once enemies and have now reconciled. Would it be too much to ask for one with Leakes as well?
