The couple hosted a gender reveal for their oldest daughter Italia Smith who got married a few months earlier to Lamar Cardinez, and the family couldn't help but share the joyous news of the outcome.
The soon to be grandmother took to her Instagram handle to tell her fans about the gender of her daughter's unborn child. She wrote:

Being a veteran actor and rapper, LL Cool J has managed to keep his relevance in the industry and his credibility as an excellent husband and father.
He and his wife once engaged in an advocacy move against cancer themed "Beat Cancer Like a Boss," and this was inspired by the family's experience with Simone's bone cancer diagnosis in 2004.
The actor showed support for his wife by standing strong through thick and thin; he even offered to donate a bone to help uphold hers.
The love and support have been immeasurable, and the parents have an impressive bond with their kids, Najee, Italia, Samaria, and Nina.
LL's youngest child, Nina, seems to be treading on the same line as her father. The youngster recently released a track titled "Call Me" before celebrating her 19-year-old birthday. It seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all.
