Madonna Enjoyed $2,265-Per-Night Maldives Trip with Her Kids and Rumored Dancer Beau Ahlamalik Williams

Madonna entered the new year by living it up at one of the most exotic tropical locations we've ever seen. Her kids and new beau are living the good life.

According to Hello Magazine, music legend Madonna welcomed the new year with a trip to a resort called Vakkaru in the Maldives. What a way to begin 2020.

The gorgeous location is home to over-the-water bungalows and serene waters. It's also a hot spot for celebrities like Amanda Holden, Idris Alba, Tracey Solomon, and newly married couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.

A luxurious family vacation

The "Like A Virgin" singer reportedly spent nine nights in the luxury resort with her children Lourdes, 23, David, 14, Mercy, 13, and Estere and Stella, both seven.

Also present to enjoy the white sand beaches and blue skies was Madonna's 25-year-old boyfriend, Ahlamalik Williams. Of course, the singer's temporary residence was decked out with a pool.

Actually, Madonna and the rest of the group allegedly enjoyed two accommodations at the hotel — a Beach Pool Retreat and an Over Water Family Pool Villa.

How much it cost

Privacy and incredible views were a given at the breathtaking location. And while most of our pockets aren't deep enough to pay for the resort, it may have made a very slight dent in the icon's purse.

At $2,265 a night minimum for the Beach Retreat and $1,829 a night for the Over Water Villa, Daily Mail estimated that the star might have racked up $32,000 for her vacation.

With perks like a 32-meter private pool, a beachfront terrace, a bath with a sea view, an overwater terrace, an outdoor shower, and an infinity pool, we're sure it was worth it.

Giving fans a taste

Madonna and her kids would have also enjoyed the 72-meter yacht trip, jetski, and Ringo rides that were reportedly part of her itinerary. Of course, the trendsetter took her vacay in style as well.

In an Instagram photo that gave fans a sneak peek of her astounding getaway, Madonna posed in a Roxy swimsuit wearing Stella McCartney designer sunglasses.

Her daughters Lourdes and one of her seven-year-olds also got glammed out in a photo of them taking their own selfie. Other shots showed the kids having fun on the water.

Idris Elba's Maldives holiday

"Nothing More Healing than a holiday with La Familia!" Madonna captioned the slide. In another post, she shared a video montage of her trip, saying she'll "never forget" it in the caption.

Actor Idris Elba, 47, also dipped his toes in the Maldives waters recently. The "Cats" actor reportedly spent his New Year's holidays at the One&Only Reethi Rah resort in — you guessed it — an overwater suite.

The "Hobbs & Show" star spent some time with his wife, Sabrina Dhowre, on a private island located in North Malé Atoll. The extravagant getaway features an open design dotted with Balinese elements.

Making the most of it

Like Madonna, Elba enjoyed an infinity pool. He also got to snooze in a daybed with an ocean view, and lounge in some catamaran nets over the water.

According to Architectural Digest, the star didn't just spend his time at the resort, he did some biking, dined at the Tapasake restaurant, and even partook in the resort's football tournament.

The British actor does play football after all. Additionally, he works as a DJ when he's not on the big screen, so yes, he showed off some skills and treated guests to his musical talents at one point.

Madonna's canceled shows

Madonna undoubtedly needed the break as last November, the singer was forced to cancel some shows in Boston due to excruciating pain she experienced.

The beloved performer shared a message of apology to fans and reassured them she'd be back on stage. We can't wait to see what's in store this year.
