Dolly Parton Thanks People for the Many Birthday Wishes Sent in Honor of Her 74th Birthday

Dolly Parton turned 74! Fans all over the world took a moment to celebrate the country music legend's birthday earlier this month.

The songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is known primarily for her work in country music. She first achieved success as a songwriter before releasing her own album debut in 1967 with "Hello, I'm Dolly."

Over the years she has proved she is multi-talented. She is also a record producer, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian.

She turned 74 this year and fans worldwide took a moment to wish her Happy Birthday. Amongst those who took a moment to wish her was Reese Witherspoon.

The "Big Little Lies" star joined Dolly to sing her 1968 hit "Coat Of Many Colors" in honor of her 74th birthday. Reese took to Instagram to share the sweet moment.

She also took a moment to pen a sweet message to the country singer in the caption writing:

"Happy Birthday @DollyParton! Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of meeting Dolly - from her vocals to her song-writing skills, her talent is boundless... and can we talk about her amazing sense of style?! So much love and respect for this woman!"

Witherspoon was not the only one to wish the country star. Dolly's goddaughter, Miley Cyrus also took a moment to wish her a Happy Birthday.

Miley's Instagram post consisted of two boomerangs of her dressing up as Dolly. In the final post, she can be seen impersonating her on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017.

Later that day, Dolly took to her own Instagram page to thank everyone for their sweet wishes. She penned a sweet message to fans writing:

"Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. You sure know how to make a girl feel special!"

Fans flooded the comments section with more wishes and thoughts for the now seventy-four-year-old Dolly. One wrote:
