Jennifer's Aniston reacts to the news of her ex-husband, Brad Pitt watching her acceptance speech from a monitor backstage as she accepted her SAG award.
Hollywood's former "IT" couple, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt haven't had much luck when it comes to love since ending both of their second marriages.
However, their acting careers haven't taken a back seat to their personal lives, and the two have been front runners to take home the honors during the most recent award season.
After all eyes werePitt and Aniston
for their first public run-in at the Golden Globes awards earlier this month. Speaking to ET, about bumping into his ex-wife, Pittjoked:
"I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend. Yeah. The second most important reunion of her year? I understand. That was a play on Friends. They were saying that."
So it was only expected that viewers couldn't wait for another sighting of the former couple at Sundays, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in Los Angeles.
Pitt and Aniston both won awards for their categories. Aniston took home the Outstanding Female in a Drama Series for her role on "The Morning Show." While Pitt won the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
After accepting his award, Pitt was caught on video smiling as he watched a television monitor backstage that showed Aniston accepting her award.
As he watched his ex-wife of almost five years, it was hard not to notice the huge grin on his face during her acceptance speech.
The former couple sent social media into a frenzy when they congratulated each other and shared a hug backstage.
After hearing from an ExtraTV reporter that Pitt was watching her from backstage, she was surprised by the news and called his gesture "sweet."
Aniston shut down rumors about any romantic involvement with her ex-husband and said his support is because they have grown up around each other.
She likened his reaction to the same support that she also received from her other peers that night, saying after all the work they put into their work, many actors like to cheer each other on.
