Us Weekly: William & Kate's Hectic Schedule Has Brought Them Closer Together Amid Harry & Meghan's Royal Exit
The hectice schedule of the Cambridge royals has reportedly brought them closer and they were recently seen serving some fantastic couple goals as they engaged in a rare display of affection.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship seems to be waxing stronger amidst the stress of royal duties. A source told Us Weekly:
"...You'd think their hectic schedule would put a strain on the marriage, but it's actually brought them closer together."

The source further opened up about how the royals of Cambridge are handling their duties with even more workload from the stepping back of Harry and Meghan. The source said:
"Working as a team and supporting each other is essential at a time like this, and that's exactly what they're doing."
The parents of three showed a rare public display of affection that has never been seen by the public while visiting Mumbles on the southern coast of Wales.
Before visiting Joe's Ice Cream Parlour, Kate was photographed, placing her hand on the duke's arm as they smiled at each other. This might seem the norm for other couples, but it is rare for the royals.
Kate found those rumors hurtful, and this forced them to revisit their marriage conditions.
Also, this helps to debunk the rumors that were circulating a few months back about their marriage being in troubled waters due to a viral video making the rounds showing Kate shrug off Prince William.
This display of affection does not come as a surprise to some who believe that the couple has to maintain such stoic positions due to their royal obligations. A source had told "Us Weekly" earlier in 2019 that:
"They're still going strong. Regardless of their ups and downs, they love each other dearly, and their kids are the most important thing in their lives."
Their visit to Mumbles, near Swansea, is a replica of their first-ever engagement as a couple, launching a new lifeboat at the Trearddur Bay lifeboat station, near their Anglesey home, in February 2011.
Kate and William's outing comes amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down from royal duties and move to Canada. The couple appears to be putting on a pretty united front, and sources say William is leaning on Kate's parents.
The Royals of Cambridge have had their fair share of marriage issues, particularly with a disturbing rumor that William was having an affair with their neighbor and friend, Rose Hanbury.
The couple never came out to dispel the rumors as it is customary for royals not to. However, according to sources, Kate found those rumors hurtful, and this forced them to revisit their marriage conditions.
William and Kate started dating in 2003 after meeting at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. They got engaged in 2010 and wed at Westminster Abbey in London the following year.
