The actors starred alongside each other on the Quentin Tarantino era movie, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," and about their time on set, Pitt added,

"It was great fun."

The "Troy" star and DiCaprio starred as "Cliff Booth" and "Rick Dalton." Their on-screen characters had a deep, lasting friendship as they confronted a changing movie industry.

The actors' on-screen personas were as thick as thieves and helped each other through life's difficulties. Pitt and the "Titanic" star characters were built on the real-life friendship of a Hollywood actor and his stuntman.

The men are into pottery and usually spend time together at Pitt's home in his sculpting studio.

Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham had a funny, inspiring, and decades-long bromance. Reynolds and Hal were so close that the former once joked that if the latter were a woman, they would have had a great marriage.

Reynolds noted that friends like that come around once in a lifetime, and that's what Pitt and DiCaprio are currently experiencing.

Although the two have always known about each other, it was the Tarantino movie that brought them together and kicked off their great friendship.

The two began an off-set friendship and bonded over their love for the arts. The men are into pottery and usually spend time together at Pitt's home in his sculpting studio.

The two men also got nominated at several award shows, including the Oscars. The "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" star got a nomination for Best Supporting Actor while got DiCaprio for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

While the "Titanic" star has not won any award, Pitt has bagged several, including his very first Oscars. He dedicated the latter to his children, whom he said colors everything he does.

The dad-of-six also thanked DiCaprio and the cast and crew of the Tarantino movie. He is appreciative of the recognition he has gotten for his role, and for the friendship that got birthed as a result of the star movie.
