Dwyane Wade Shared Cute Photo of Daughter Kaavia James Reaching for a Flower Arrangement

Retired basketball player, Dwyane Wade, shared an adorable picture of his youngest daughter, Kaavia, reaching out for a bouquet.

Former NBA star, Dwyane Wade shows off his daughter, kaavia, exploring the valentine spirit as she reached out for flowers in a new Instagram photo.

The one-year-old, whom the icon shares with actress Gabriella Union, looked adorable in a striped long-sleeved top, black pants, and a pair of socks as she raised herself from the couch and made for the flowers.

A VALENTINE'S SPECIAL

The post featured the toddler, leaning over the arms of a sofa in an attempt to fondle the beautiful petals of the flowers which were securely placed in a glass water vase resting on a table.

The tot looked engrossed in her mission, with a fierce determination written on her face. Captioning the post, the doting father, wrote:

"Daddy's Valentines."

The adorable pic was followed by pink and black heart emojis. More heart emojis followed in the comments as fans expressed their love and admiration for the cute little damsel.

The basketball icon is also father to Zaire, Zaya, and Xavier from previous relationships. Also, he has custody of his 18-year-old nephew, Dahveon.

A ROUGH PATCH

The star welcomed his youngest daughter, Kaavia, with "Bring It On" star, Gabrielle Union, via surrogacy, four years into their marriage. The birth of the toddler admittedly prompted the basketballer to retire from the games and focus on family.

The couple first hit it off in 2009 but encountered a brief split. However, the duo reconciled in 2013 and tied the knot the next year.Remarkably, the retired athlete upholds family in high esteem and is unwilling to let anything get in the way.

However, the icon has experienced a close call with a disaster once, which gladly, he was courageous enough to fix at the nick of time.

KAAVIA ON THE 'GRAM

He recalled how challenging it was opening up to his then-fiance, Gabriella about fathering a child, Xavier, with another woman saying:

"I had a child with someone else, and I had to tell her. Hardest thing I've ever had to do is man up and tell Gabrielle Union that I've had a child with somebody else. I couldn't sleep. I wasn't eating."

The NBA player welcomed Xavier in 2013, with "Basketball Wives" actress, Aja Metoyerin, during the lovebird's breakup phase. Union admitted him into her life notwithstanding, also embracing all of his kids like hers.

Since welcoming their daughter in 2018, the pair have maintained an active social media profile for the little one, filling fans in on her growing phases as well as memorable moments.

Earlier this month, a hilarious video of the one-year-old brushing her Djing skills hit the media. The pair shared the post on the tot's Instagram, along with a caption that professed the toddler a "Celebrity DJ," making for a good laugh.

As the one-year-old is slowly becoming a celebrity in her rights, Kaavia is undoubtedly going to live up to her parent's reputations and follow in their footsteps.
