"The Voice" is back! And although a new star joined the league of coaches, it's Kelly Clarkson's new look that stole the show and got fans talking.
In an Instagram post, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton welcomed Nick Jonas onboard. In the brief video, the three coaches expressed their feelings about Jonas joining the singing reality show.
John Legend teased him that he should watch out for the blocks of the other coaches, emphasizing the fact that each coach wants to win in the long run.
Blake, who has been a coach since 2011, observed that Nick talks too much. Despite all these observations, the audience went into a screaming frenzy when Jonas was introduced.
The singer showed her impressive vocal skills on the "Kellyoke" segment of her talk show.
But that frenzy did not stop at Nick Jonas, it extended to Kelly Clarkson, as she left her fans dazzled by her new blonde short and edgy haircut. The length of the hair rightly framed her face.
The singer opted for a combination of pink and dark gray eye shadows. Kelly's look prompted various reactions in the comment section, from both critics and fans. One critic wrote,
"Kelly Clarkson, you are getting too far out there. That red eye shadow. Stay true to your roots."
It is not the first time Clarkson would be taking a daring fashion move; on the last season of "The Voice," the singer got a lot of attention when she rocked a Balmain dress — the distinct feature was its oversized collar.
She was so excited about the dress that she posted it on her Instagram account and captioned it, "My outfits on The Voice have been one of the top trending female celebs look of 2019."
Apart from her risky fashion choices, Kelly Clarkson gave the newbie, Nick Jonas, some solid advice in the clip. She said jokingly,
"I just want to warn you of a couple of things. Blake lies like a lot. He will say and do anything to get someone on his team."
Clarkson is not just stunning her fans with her fashion style, but also her performance style; wearing a multi-colored striped dress, with a red waist belt she performed the cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own."
The singer showed her impressive vocal skills on the "Kellyoke" segment of her talk show, "The Kelly Clarkson Show." Kelly has also performed covers to several songs like "I Love It," and "Hella Good."
