Sharon Osbourne From 'The Talk' Explains New Hair Color & Says She Was Tired of Getting It Dyed
Sharon Osbourne is making no excuses for her decision to go gray. She simply got tired of the work and saw that there was no point in hiding anymore.
Like most women over the age of 60, Sharon Osbourne opted to dye her hair as soon as they grays began coming in. The tv-personality rocked a vibrant shade of red for a long time.
Eventually, the beauty process took a toll, and Sharon saw the light in just letting her hair be free. She debuted the new look on Tuesday and explained her decision. The clip is found below.

Sharon goes all gray
When the platinum white showed itself on the stage of Sharon's show "The Talk," fans in the audience were supportive. As usual, though, the online world was not as accepting.
While some expressed their disapproval with kindness, others kept it blunt and straightforward. "Love the red better. This color makes you look old," said one viewer.
Sharon explains herself
Yet Sharon has had 18 years to figure out what she wants to do with her hair. And while her reasoning wasn't profound, it was pretty clear to anyone who'd listen.
She sat down with her co-hosts and said, "I was just so fed up of going and having it dyed and having it dyed, and I was just like, 'I can't do this anymore.' "
Just be yourself, says Sharon
The former reality star added: "I'm like, 'why am I trying to do something or be something that I'm not?' So, just be who you are." Her message applies everywhere and for all time.
Aside from the mixed reactions from fans, Sharon also got a notable response from husband Ozzy, who commented, "The devil wears Prada!" His wife loved the comment for the look which took eight hours to achieve.

During the episode, Sharon opened up about Ozzy's health situation as well. The rock singer recently postponed his tour's North America leg as he prepares to go to Europe for Parkinson's treatment.
Sharon revealed that the visit to Switzerland could take up to eight weeks, forcing him to make the tour changes. She noted that while he could receive flak for the numerous delays, his fans supported him.

For the most part, Sharon's receiving praise for her new hair color, too. And rightly so as no woman should be brought down for their natural gray hair, which really just means one was blessed with long life.
