Magic Johnson's Gay Son EJ Dresses in Women's Clothing & Feels No Need to Transition

Retired NBA star, Magic Johnson has a 27-year-old son, who has defied all the societally-defined odds and freely expresses his fashion choices and sexuality while retaining his gender identity.

Television personality and socialite, EJ Johnson is famed for his gender-defying fashion choices. However, the "Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills" star has a famous dad, who has supported his choices since he first came out as gay, although, the acceptance didn't come without drama.

The 27-year-old, despite identifying as a male, has taken to donning high-end female clothing, with an unarguably excellent fashion sense as visible in his numerous eye-popping Instagram posts and television appearances.

Admittedly, the socialite aspires to pursue a career in fashion and has worked as a fashion commentator on "Fashion Police," while covering shows for New York Fashion Week.

A graduate of event management and design, EJ has come to terms with being himself, which is, a gay fashion-forward young adult who dresses like a woman, yet feels unobliged to transition. Speaking on his choices, the 27-year-old said:

"If you feel like you are not in the right body, then, by all means, get to where you want to be; I don't feel that I'm in the wrong body, I feel like this is the body I'm supposed to be in. I don't feel the need to transition."

The television star admittedly feels comfortable in his own skin, loves his body, and is "almost 100 percent sure" that transitioning was not in the plates for him.

For the gay news personality, fashion was more than fixing up a combination of the right clothing choices. He divulged that his interest in the art was borne out of its ability to let him express his femininity and masculinity at will, without downplaying any.

During an interview shortly after his weight loss, the fashion icon disclosed that he was down with a new mindset and "completely" dedicated to pursuing a healthier lifestyle.

Although revealing his status to the public came sooner than expected after being outed by TMZ when he was just twenty and a college undergrad, the gay socialite has no regrets.

Through his journey as gay, the reality star has relished in the support of his family, without whom he would never have been bold enough. EJ came out to his family long before the news went public, and by then, they'd all accepted him. He revealed:

"When it was time to come out, I was obviously scared as most people are. After I got all the love and support from my family, then I knew I could go out and conquer the world."

Remarkably, embracing his sexuality has impacted him positively, as he has since adopted a healthier lifestyle.

It can be recalled that the celebrity kid experienced a dramatic weight loss in 2015, losing over a hundred pounds following a gastric sleeve surgery.
