Gabrielle Union's Daughter Kaavia James Steals the Show as She Walks in Front of Audience in White Outfit

Rather than allow her father enjoy the attention, Kaavia James Union-Wade stole the show at Dwyane's Jersey retirement ceremony.

The NBA player who had announced his retirement since 2018, and played his final game last year April, had his jersey retirement ceremony last weekend.

It was a family affair as Wade's loved ones were in attendance to show their support. Apart from showing support, they were also the center of attention.

Dwyane's one-year-old daughter Kaavia, especially, wasn’t joking around with anyone as she stole the show in her stunning outfits.

Her mother, Gabrielle, took to Instagram to post a picture of little Kaavia attracting so much attention as she walked in front of the audience in a white outfit. She captioned the post:

"@kaaviajames tryin to negotiate a comeback during the jersey retirement."

Kaavia looked like she owned the place. Gabrielle’s fans and followers hit the like button and took to the comment section to hail the little girl.

Her proud father, Dwyane Wade, also took to his Instagram story to post the same picture with the caption, "This is her house."

The actress became a stepmom to three of Dwayne's children and a first-time mother to their latest addition, Kaavia.

While giving his speech at his retirement ceremony, the former NBA player paid tribute to his friend, Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash last month.

Dwyane also appreciated a very special person in his life ⁠— his wife. He thanked Gabrielle for her support all through the years they have been together. Wade said:

"To my wife, Gab, thank you for coming into my life and showing me that life can be different. Through you, I learned that life is really what you make it."

The words of her former NBA player husband touched Gabrielle Union as she was shown on the big screen with teary eyes.

Dwyane and Gabrielle have been married for five years now. Together, they share four children; Zion, Zaire, Xavier, and Kaavia.

The actress became a stepmom to three of Dwyane's children and a first-time mother to their latest addition, Kaavia Wade whom they welcomed through a surrogate.

The family of seven loves to spend time together. Last Christmas, they traveled for a vacation in Maui, Hawaii, and they were spotted having a swell time together.
