Tamela Mann from 'Meet the Browns' Shows off Slimmer Waist in Purple Dress Amid Weight Loss in Pic with Husband David

Tamela and David Mann have been hard at work with numerous projects lined up, and they decided to share a sneak peek of their upcoming show "Assisted Living" as they posed in matching purple outfits that showed off their slimmer figures.

Tamela and David Mann have been working hard, having toured with Tyler Perry on "Madea's Farewell Tour" recently. Now, they're working on another project, a show called "Assisted Living" that fans are eager to know more about.

Although their relationship is going strong, David and Tamela faced a rough patch for a couple of years that almost led to their separation.

AN UPCOMING SHOW FOR THE MANNS

In a new sneak peek posted on Instagram, the Manns donned matching purple outfits that showed off their slimmer figures. While David opted for a funky paisley-printed ensemble, Tamela kept things simple by wearing a plain bright purple outfit that showed off her slender waist that resembled an hour-glass.

TAMELA'S WEIGHT WATCHERS PROGRAM

Tamela Mann's weightloss journey isn't a secret, especially since she's enlisted as the Weight Watchers program's ambassador. Joining her as ambassadors include Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson. Through the program, she is able to constantly lose weight without compromising her favorite food and activities.

Months after enlisting in the program, she's lost more than 40 pounds. This didn't come easy for her though, especially after undergoing a knee replacement surgery, and because she suffers from diabetes.

While people often think David and Tamela have been trying to lose weight to look better, there's actually a deeper reason as to why they're working out, and it's to enjoy the life they live and to be able to enjoy things that other people can on a normal basis.

THROUGH THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF LIFE

Although their relationship is going strong, David and Tamela faced a rough patch for a couple of years that almost led to their separation. This was because although they've been together for more than three decades now, David actually fathered two children with different women which caused Tamela to almost give up on their marriage.

Due to David's commitment to change and become a better man, however, Tamela ultimately stayed and stood by her man through the highs and lows of their relationship.
