Rita Wilson Performs Acoustic Version of 'Broken Man' Amid COVID-19 Quarantine with Husband Tom Hanks
Rita Wilson recently shared a video of herself performing the acoustic version of her song, "Broken Man," amid coronavirus quarantine with husband Tom Hanks.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were discharged from the Queensland Hospital in Australia, where they had been in quarantine and receiving treatment following their coronavirus diagnosis.
Since their discharge, the couple has been in self-isolation in a rented apartment on the Gold Coast. One thing the couple has done since announcing their positive test to the virus is to keep their fans update.

They have also kept a positive vibe ever since, and it was in that vein that Rita Wilson shared a soothing rendition of her song, "Broken Man," on her Instagram page.
The acoustic performance showed that the actress and singer is making the best use of her time in isolation, and she looked to be in high spirits, with two backup musicians behind her. Rita captioned,
"Broken Man by Rita Wilson. Written with Gary Burr. People aren't perfect. Gotta love them flaws and all."
The video posted by Rita seemed to have been filmed in the garage of the home where she and her husband have been staying in since their discharge from the hospital.
Behind the happy singer was a patterned cloth, which was pinned to the wall. It will be recalled that Rita Wilson and her husband were in Australia for Hank's filming of Baz Lurhmann's biopic of Elvis Presley.
Since news broke out that the couple had contracted the deadly virus, they have been at the receiving end of messages of support from fans and co-stars alike.
Celebrities such as Gwen Stefani, Kate Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Gordon Ramsay, posted messages of love and support to Hanks and his wife after he posted an update of their time in isolation.
The "Forrest Gump" actor posted a picture of a meal of two toasts covered with a spread of Vegemite, which elicited the messages from his peers.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Rita Wilson was very cautious of herself and her interactions in the public weeks before coming down with the virus.
During an appearance at an event — "Women's Cancer Research Fund's An Unforgettable Evening Fundraiser" — the 63-year-old didn't shake hands with anyone while walking the red carpet.
Speaking to pressmen, she said that her refusal to shake hands was due to precautionary measures, adding that she had postponed several planned performances because of Coronavirus.
Despite her best efforts at being cautious, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks announced two weeks after that they tested positive to the virus.
