LEARNING ABOUT THE SHOCKING NEWS
While sitting in her bedroom with current boyfriend DJ Ballistic, she learned about the shocking news through a phone call. After learning of the news, she tells her boyfriend: "They gave him custody. I don't know what to do!"
Shortly after the clip was released, fans pegged Stevie J's response as "insensitive," as he posted a video on Instagram of his son, Stevie Jordan Jr., playing with Bonnie while they were both in his custody.
THE TEMPORARY CUSTODY ARRANGEMENT
The "Marriage Boot Camp" episode was filmed last year, and the granted arrangement given to Stevie J was temporary. Shortly after, Joseline received custody of Bonnie again, while granting visitation rights to her ex.
The sudden custody arrangement given to Stevie J came after he filed a complaint about his ex-girlfriend not following the visitation rights that he was given. After he claimed that she was hiding their daughter from him, the court granted him with temporary primary custody.
A CONTINUOUS COURT BATTLE FOR CUSTODY
Despite a better relationship between the ex-couple, Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez remain in a custody battle for daughter and are set to go in trial in the coming months to try and solve the case.
At this rate, both parents are requesting for primary custody of their daughter, and the judge will have to try and weigh in the best options for their little girl. After all, both parents love her dearly and would very much like to be with her as much as possible.
