Fans began the speculation about Jett's talents after the R&B shared a clip of the two of them singing a rendition of "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands."

While Jill did her thing, it was clear to her 2 million followers that Jett could easily beat his mother at the game. It wouldn't even be the first time that the 47-year-old would be showing off her son's singing skills online.

Back in August 2018, Essence reported that Jill shared a video of Jett hitting the high note in Minnie Riperton's 1975 classic "Lovin' You," effortlessly

In addition to continually showing him off on social media, Jill has also made it clear that her life has become better since she welcomed him in 2009. During an interview with Essence, the "He Loves Me" crooner stated:

"He is the impetus of my own accountability. I don't want to bring people into his life who aren't healthy for him. It matters to me how he views me."

Later in 2019, BCK Online revealed that the singer-songwriter and actress had talked about how much she loved her son. Through an Instagram post, Jill explained that her son was "deep, encouraging, and honest."

Despite the joys that came with motherhood, Jill has been known to admit how difficult being a single mother can be.

The mother-of-one has, however, found her close friends actress Mo'Nique and singer Erykah Badu, to be of great support whenever she needed it.

Meanwhile, BET divulged that it was Tyler Perry who started the "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" challenge. Tyler started the challenge as a way to uplift spirits during the coronavirus pandemic

To that end, the creator of "Madea" stated that he hoped people would join in the challenge as they turned it into a prayer for the world at large.
