Kelly Clarkson Gave Fans a Peek at Her Country Home Where She’s Riding out the Pandemic

This week, television host Kelly Clarkson gave her fans a sneak peek at her country home in Montana. She revealed that the ranch was where she and her family were social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On April 1, 2020, Clarkson filmed a different segment for “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” The show recently came back with new content after production was temporarily shut down last month in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

For that episode, the country music star took fans on a short tour of her Montana ranch that she bought with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, over a year and a half ago. Fans of the former “American Idol” winner got to see the exterior of the ranch and outside Clarkson’s cabin.

Huddled up on a ranch

The daytime talk show host is currently at the ranch with her husband and their two children. The pair shares a daughter River Rose, 5, and a son Remington, 3.

Clarkson appeared to be makeup-free in the footage as she moved around the premises. She even filmed herself inside the wooden building wearing a cap.

Taking time away from LA

The star explained that she and her husband had bought the property so they could have a place where to enjoy the outdoors together. The ranch is a place where the family can go when they want to get away from busy Los Angeles.

At one point during the tour, Clarkson’s children were seen making s’mores against the snowy backdrop. The star explained how she and Blackstock had dreamt of owning a ranch “since we were both kids.”

Releasing a new single

Besides getting a chance to view the television personality’s country home her fans got a little bit more this week. On Thursday, the country musician took to Twitter to reveal that she would be releasing a new single soon!

Title & release date of new song

Clarkson shared that her newest track was her “favorite/hardest project” that she’d “ever worked on. “ She went on to reveal that the single’s title was "I Dare You."

The star also shared with her fans that the track would be out everywhere on April 16th.
