Prince Charles is back to his royal duties after making a recovery from his coronavirus diagnosis. In his first official message since his recovery, the heir to the throne made a little kind gesture to his grandson, Prince George.

It’s easy to miss the ode in the Clarence House Twitter video since Prince George wasn’t the topic of Prince Charles’ message. However, you can see a picture of the Prince of Wales and his grandson.

The picture rested behind Prince Charles’ shoulder, and it shows Prince George in a white and blue jumper, as well as a white sun hat. It’s a cute sentiment for sure — one that perhaps shows the special relationship between the two.

The video itself featured Prince Charles speaking mostly about the coronavirus and its effects on the older British generation. The heir to the throne was primarily focused on the healthcare workers and the people.

Charles encouraged everyone to stay resilient and strong in this period, adding that people should all remain calm and pull through the situation together. He said.

“None of us can say when this will end, but end it will. Until then, let us try to live with faith in ourselves and in each other...”

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Prince Charles will be letting the public into some never-seen-before photos of himself and his grandson.

Back in 2015, the Prince of Wales was promoting Earth Hour — a video from the World Wildlife Foundation that discusses the environment and which raises awareness for sustainability. In it, a picture of him and Prince George stood out amongst most.

At the time, the Prince was only two years old and had been a fixture at several social events. However, seeing how affectionately Prince Charles held him was a beautiful sight.

There was also a lovely clip in which several Royal Family members noted a similarity between both Prince Charles and Prince George.

A cut from the 2016 documentary, Elizabeth at 90, showed Princes William and Harry talking about how the young heir walks like his grandfather.

However, both Prince Charles and Prince George share more than just a walking posture. The older royal has been sharing his love for the environment with his grandson.

Back in 2015, the two of them made a public appearance as they planted trees in Highgrove House, Charles’ estate.
