Jenna Bush Hager from 'Today' Pays Tribute to Daughter Mila's 7th Birthday in New Adorable Photos

Co-host of the "Today Show" Jenna Bush Hager recently shared adorable pictures of her daughter, Mila, on her 7th birthday. She also penned down a sweet birthday message.

Jenna recently took to her Instagram page to wish her daughter a belated birthday celebration. The images showed cute Mila smiling as she read a book with the title, "Guess how much I love you." The happy mother captioned the post,

"Happiest 7th birthday to our Mila! Named after both your grandmothers, you have their love of life, love of books, and love of laughter."

JENNA'S WARM MESSAGE

The former President's daughter continued her message by stating some of her daughter's excellent qualities. According to the mother of two, some of Mila's fine attributes are her "empathy and kindness." She finished the note by stating that,

"I hope you never have to guess how loved you are because our love for you is infinite."

Well-wishers flooded the comment section to wish Mila a wonderful birthday. A person wrote, "Happy birthday, sweet Mila," while another person added, "Happy birthday Mila, Gorgeous sweet girl."

JENNA AND HENRY'S MARRIAGE

Jenna and her husband Henry Chase Hager tied the knot in 2008, and together, they have three children — Magaret Laura "Mila" Hagger, Poppy Louise Hager, and Henry Harold "Hal" Hager.

The former first lady, Laura Bush, reportedly didn't think Jenna and Henry were built to last.

THE IDEA BEHIND HER CHILDREN'S NAMES

Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former president George W. Bush and Laura Bush, welcomed her third child and first son on August 2, 2019.

Bush Hager explained the baby boy's name to People. According to her, he is named Henry after members of her husband's family, including her husband and baby Henry's paternal grandfather. The name Harold, on the other hand, was from her maternal grandfather, whom she loved.

Both of their daughters' names also have meanings. Their first child Mila is named after her grandparents: Margaret "Maggie" Hager and Laura Bush. Their second child, Poppy, was named after her great-grandfather George H.W. Bush. The former President was nicknamed Poppy as a child.

HENRY AND JENNA

Though the former first lady, Laura Bush, reportedly didn't think Jenna and Henry were built to last, Jenna proved her mother wrong by getting married to her then-boyfriend of three years, Henry Hager.

The duo met while Hager was serving on her father's 2004 re-election campaign, and while Henry reportedly had a girlfriend at the time, the bond between them was strong.

Henry proposed late 2007 when he took Jenna on a 4 a.m. hike in Acadia National Park. He asked her to marry him as they looked out at the sunrise over a mountain peak.

Henry is also from a political family. He is the son of former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, John H. Hager.
