Samuel L Jackson & Wife of 40 Years LaTanya Give Big Shoutout to Medical Workers Amid Pandemic

Several notable figures have taken the time to appreciate healthcare professionals for their work amid the pandemic. Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya, have joined this rank of notable people.

Last week, Samuel shared a video of himself and his wife on Instagram. In it, the couple appreciated all the health professionals on the frontlines. Considering that these people have been working while many stay home, it’s worth it.

The United States currently has, by far, the highest number of coronavirus cases in the world. New York state alone has more confirmed cases than any other country — including China, where the virus’ spread began.

The situation is becoming more serious. Hospitals and healthcare centers across the country have been taking in more people. Healthcare professionals have also been putting their lives at risk to ensure that everyone is safe.

The Jacksons showed their appreciation for all the effort, adding that everyone owes the workers a debt of gratitude for their valiant work. In part, they said:

"We want to give a big shoutout to all the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and everyone who is on the frontlines…"

Samuel is one of the celebrities that have campaigned for social responsibility at this time. Earlier this month, he appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live to debut his book, "Stay the [Expletive] at Home."

The book is a timely sequel to his 2011 bestselling title, "Go the [Expletive] to Sleep." Instead of telling kids that they should be in bed, however, Samuel is telling everyone to stay home at this time.

LaTanya explains that solving challenges requires an effort from both partners.

As for him and LaTanya, they recently celebrated the 39th anniversary of their marriage. Anyone who’s paid attention to Hollywood marriages knows that this is a laudable feat.

Last August, Samuel shared a picture of their wedding on his Instagram page as he celebrated the anniversary, with the caption:

LaTanya has also given some tips on how to sustain a marriage. She explained in a 2018 interview that one needs to have a big heart and the Lord, to make a marriage work.

She also admitted that every marriage needs a mantra. This, as she explained, will serve as something to help hold the relationship together and give the couple a goal to chase.

Her tips ended with an age-old saying — never let the sun go down on your anger. No matter what the issue is, LaTanya explains that solving challenges requires an effort from both partners.
