After superstar vocalist Charlie Wilson decided to stay "clean," he found the love of his life, and they literally never leave each other's side! In Mahin Tat, the "There Goes My Baby" crooner found true love, and he was also willing to go by all terms.

WILSON'S LOVE STORY
The NAACP winner's love life cannot be recounted without the heartwarming story of how he overcame drug abuse and decided to lead a healthy lifestyle with his rehab official. In 1995, Charlie met Mahin while battling drug addiction.
Mahin was a social worker at the singer's rehab center, and they had struck it off from the start. She gave him an ultimatum, and to date, they are still together, stronger than ever.
THEY GO EVERYWHERE TOGETHER
The "Bridging the Gap" singer revealed that his wife was willing to quit her social worker job after he agreed to go everywhere with her. Now their marriage is over 20 years, and Wilson never went back on his words.
In 2013, the veteran star was awarded a BET Lifetime Achievement award.
He told MADAMENOIRE, "You have to do every day everywhere. That's true love. A lot of people can't do that. A lot of people are trying to get away from that, but then, you're not really in love, are you?"
TURBULENT TIMES
In 2008, doctors diagnosed the Oklahoma native with prostate cancer, but luckily for him, the terminal illness was at its early stage. With the help of radiation implants, Uncle Charlie was able to beat cancer.
After becoming a cancer survivor, the "You Are" singer joined forces with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to create awareness for black men. The R&B singer explained that he was devastated and thought his life was over.
UNCLE CHARLIE'S MUSIC
At the beginning of his singing career, Wilson formed a boy band with his siblings, Ronnie and Robert. The music group "Gap Band" ruled the music scene in the "70s, and they stayed together till 2010.
After Uncle Charlie became a solo artist, he continued to make waves with hit songs like "There Goes My Baby" and "Forever Valentine," among others.
In 2013, the veteran star was awarded a BET Lifetime Achievement award. While Wilson was struggling to revive his music career after going solo, he got help from the likes of Snoop Dogg.
