Dwyane Wade's Trans Daughter Zaya Rocks Cornrows as She Poses on the Balcony during Quarantine

Zaya Wade served looks in a new social media share where she rocked cornrows braids and a chic outfit.

Dwyane Wade's daughter, Zaya, is well on her way to becoming a fashionista as she displayed in a new Instagram update.

In the short clip, Zaya stood on her home's balcony, picture-ready while the sun was her backdrop. She looked stylish in a black "800°" t-shirt, which she matched with a lengthy patterned skirt.

Dwyane told the host of "Good Morning America" that Zaya had an idea of her true identity when she was three-year-old.

The young girl spiced up her look with neatly made cornrows braids and a pair of sunglasses. In the comments, fans were head one heels with the look as they showed approval and affection for the 12-year-old.

Stepmom Gabrielle Union also made it to the comment section where she praised Zaya's sense of style. According to Today, the young socialite made her red carpet debut in March while in attendance at the Truth Awards event.

Zaya's style was nothing short of classy as she strutted in several photos taken of her. Accompanied by her parents, the young Wade rocked a jade silk suit with a tailcoat, and a pair of black flared pants.

The youngster completed her outfit with black heeled boots and a fuchsia pink purse. Her parents, Dwyane and Gabrielle, dressed in similar outfits as their daughter as they all stole the spotlight at the event.

After Zaya decided to come out and own her identity, many fans praised her NBA champion dad for his exceptional show of understanding and affection.

Vox shares that once when the star dad was talking about his daughter's transformation in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, he explained that Zaya had simply accepted her truth. Wade said to Ellen:

"We are proud parents of a child in the LGBTQ+ community, and we're proud allies as well."

According to Inquisitr Zaya gave her first interview, in March, after publicly declaring that she was transgender.

Firmly supported by her celebrity parents, the LGBTQ spokesperson made it known that it felt "great" while adding that she was glad she found what she's "meant to do."

According to NBC News, Dwyane told the host of "Good Morning America" that Zaya had an idea of her true identity when she was three-year-old.

He explained that it took him a while to come to terms with Zaya being transgender. But after some moments of self-reflection, he realized that his daughter needed him, and the star athlete followed suit with the necessary support.
