Donald Trump Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with Throwback Photo of Himself Eating a Taco Bowl

Donald Trump shared a throwback image that showed him enjoying a bowl of tacos, and his fans can't get enough of it.

Cinco De Mayo is a yearly event that is observed to honor the Mexican Army's triumph over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.

To celebrate the occasion this year, several celebrities took to social media to post their celebratory images. One of those people included the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, who posted a throwback picture of himself eating a taco bowl on his Instagram page.

Other celebrities who celebrated the big day with social media posts include Kelsea Ballerini, Aaron Paul, Jessica Chastain, and Eva Longoria.

With a smile on his face and his left hand giving a thumbs-up, the 73-year-old asked his followers, "Remember this? Happy #CincoDeMayo!"

His followers must have remembered the event that prompted the snap as they have liked the post over two million times and dropped over 60,000 comments. While one person stated that he was the best, another prayed that Donald would be filled with more strength.

Amid the comments pouring in for the President, Time noted that he had also shared the same image to his Twitter feed with the claim that "The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill."

Other celebrities who celebrated the big day with social media posts include Kelsea Ballerini, Aaron Paul, Jessica Chastain, and Eva Longoria.

Us Magazine reported that while Eva shared a picture of her holding a margarita cup, Aaron uploaded a tutorial video of how to make excellent cocktails.

Jessica, for her part, posted a picture of her enjoying her margarita in bed and Kelsea shared a video to her Instagram Story that showed her sipping the margarita.

In the same spirit, Daily Mail divulged that Kyle Richards took to Instagram to share a flashback photo of herself in a swimsuit during a trip to Greece.

It didn't take long before her "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" co-star, Lisa Rinna, joined in the spread of the Cinco cheer with a picture of her in a straw hat and wild leggings.

Daily Mail added that Salma Hayek, who grew up in Mexico, also took to Instagram to recognize the day.
