With that in mind, the 58-year-old took to Instagram on May 9 to post an image of a two-tier celebratory cake, some flowers, and a cutout of the Loyola Marymount University graduate, according to Page Six.

Heather was married to the heavy-metal drummer, Tommy Lee, for seven years before they filed for divorce in August 1993.

The day before that, the “Melrose Place” star shared a picture of the 22-year-old standing outdoors as she posed for the camera in her graduation cap and a purple sweater.

The sweater, which had the expression “compassion is cool” written across the chest, was paired with black boots, Inquisitr added.

The site also noted that Heather shared a series of throwback videos of her daughter and her friends on her Instagram page, which elicited a supportive reaction from her followers and fans.

Although Heather first made her television appearance in 1980 with a role in “CHiPs,” it wasn’t until a year later when she landed a role on “Dynasty” and starred in “T.J. Hooker” that she became a well-known actress.

According to Biography, she also landed roles in “Boston Legal,” “Uptown Girls,” “Spin City,” and “The Perfect Man.” In 2009, Heather returned to familiar grounds when she appeared on a new version of the 1993 show, “Melrose Place.”

Unfortunately, the reboot of the T.V. classic failed to win the hearts of people and got canceled after only one season.

As for her love life, Heather was married to the heavy-metal drummer, Tommy Lee, for seven years before they filed for divorce in August 1993. Nearly one year after that, in December 1994, the actress got married to the Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora.

Three years into their union, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Ava Elizabeth Sambora. However, the marriage soon ended, and in 2006, Richie and Heather filed for divorce, which was finalized in April 2007.

In the same year, she began dating actor Jack Wagner whom she got engaged to in 2011 – the couple, however, split up before the end of that year.
